Tip Calculation Formula
Tip Amount = Bill × (Tip % ÷ 100), then Total Bill = Bill + Tip Amount, and Amount Per Person = Total Bill ÷ Number of People.
Worked example: a bill of 1,000 with an 18% tip and 4 people splitting it: Tip = 1,000 × 0.18 = 180. Total = 1,000 + 180 = 1,180. Per person = 1,180 ÷ 4 = 295.
